Whats the easiest type of dog to take care of?

A mutt, they aren't high strung like purebreds. You can get a shorthaired mutt. They are great.

Well I have a mutt that is half lab and half bassithound who is lazy and dont really do anything but eat alot, then i have an american pitt bull who is really hyper and playful and well behaived thanks to some trainning from me and then i have a toy weiner dog too who is small short haired and easy to train so depending on what your looking for you might do some research online to see what breed best suits you and your needs, and if you get a purebreed make sure you go to a good breeder so you dont get a sick or mistreated animal i went to a breeder i got out of the paper for a pitt bull and the puppy died in less then a month after i got her.

it depends on the persons time and effort it has to give to the dog.but if ur really busy the best type of pet for u to take care of is a hamster or a goldfish...but if u really want a dog get a dog that doesnt have very long hair....isnt hyper of takes to much attention like jack russels.....and also a dog that is perfectly fine with being by itself.

My own personal opinion, is that a Golden Retriever is the best dog. They are able to hold in going to the bathroom for a while, they are great with kids, and they love attention

I would say the most sweetest and most intelligent dog is a Border Collie, but not so easy to take care of. In my opinion, you should get a lab, easy to take care of and very sweet as well.

I would say a toy poodle i have one and they are calm and a great company, and are the 2nd smartest dog in the world.

mutts rule lol!! I have a great dane, german shepard yellow lab mix and he is the best dog in the world as far as temperment and brilliance!!

I agree with anybody who says a golden retriever! They are kind and attentiave, and they are great family dogs. I recommend them 100%! ;-)

I like my lab puppy. He's awesome. If you're looking for "easy" you don't need to own a dog though....
