Be careful not to allow your dogs to eat to much fruit as it is high in sugar content and could cause stomach upset and diarrhea. Make sure they don't eat grapes as these are not good for dogs. I would probably stick with apples (obviously in moderation) but limit all the other fruits. I had a dog that loved to eat plums and since we had a plum tree he had free access. Unfortunately he ate the seed and all which, thank goodness, we never had any problems with a blockage. Vegetables are good as well but again in moderation. Carrots, beans, green peas, and the like are great to add to the dogs food. You can even give them a carrot to munch on. Strawberries and peaches keep to a limit, but they shouldn't hurt them. My dogs love strawberries too. Anyway, hope that helps.

Watch for allergies. No grapes, onions, garlic or potato peels. Remember that dogs are naturally carnivores. They dont actually intake alot of nutrients from fruits and vegetable. Make sure that fruits and veggies aren't your dogs main food. But a treat here and there is a good idea. Good luck!

Even in the wild, wolves and coyotes get a certain amount of vegetative and fruit and grain matter in their diets - the stomach and intestines, along with their contents, are often the first things either one will eat from a kill.

People have already given you good advice on what fruits, vegetables and otehr human foods NOT to feed your dog.

Friuts and veggies are fine for dogs, unless they display signs of allergies. However, the seeds and pits aren't good at all, as most are toxic to dogs. Aso, grapes have been causing kidney failure (and raisins) Go easy on tomatoes and cabbage family, and no onions in any form..Carrots are fine, except in excess. No potato peels. No tree nuts.

The list you have so far seems safe enough...but here's a list of things you SHOULDN'T feed your best friend, as the effects are toxic on Fido...

Chocolate and cocoa products (theobromine poisoning)
Onions
Grapes, raisins, sultanas, and currants
Gum
Macadamia nuts
cooked bones
Antifreeze
Bulb plants (tulips and ivy, etc.)
Caladium, dieffenbachia, and philodendron
Hops

The link below has others.

Fruit is good, but no grapes poison for a dog, also no raisins, no chocolate, no onions, no pork. Other wise veggies are good for him I ask the vet last week and he told me just make sure the diet is balanced. Good luck :)

I would check with a breed specialist to ask them if it ok. Some dogs are allergic to certain plants and fruits and vegetables, and some breeds are not. Never feed dogs chocolate, or they will die, and never feed a dog grapes, raisins, or whine, because it will make your dog sick, and it poisons the dog.

I must be getting old.

When I went to school canines were carnivores and humans were omnivores.

Now both, it turns out, are herbivores. And people don't believe in evolution.

I will continue eating meats and vegetables and see that my dog gets meat. I don't think "rabbit" food is good for your dog in the long run. Think about it.

Most fruits are fine for dogs excepts grapes & raisins. Those are toxic and my vet said that I should not let my dog eat those fruits since they might kill him.
