lol no not at all. Lots of people come back without any of that, its not like the gulf war. But there is always that risk you know, it a foreign land and the metals used for bullets like tungsten and DU are not good if inhaled. I know dozens of people who came back just fine, i wouldnt worry about it, also I am in the army and ill let you know when I get there.

Don't see why. USA and UK army have regular checks by medical staff. Got all their inoculations etc. There is a condition called gulf war syndrome. That is a mental health issue though. Joining any Army in actice service where you put your life on the line daily, will effect your health. Which is why they rotate you. Hope this helps...

Do you mean "If you SERVE IN THE ARMED FORCES IN IRAQ"?? You can't join/enlist in the British Army in Iraq. I certainly don't recall seeing many Recruiting Offices out there.

No, you are immunized for all major diseases before you go. I wouldn't worry about that.

Responding to the jacka** who said "death" you do realize that the paltry 3,400 deaths is the lowest of any US conflict lasting more than 6 months? 17,000 people died at the hands of drunk drivers in the US last year alone. The chances of losing your life in Iraq is about one in 1,000.
