Bound's hubby here:

First, the chances of your finding an M14 for sale are nil. In order to legally purchase an M14, you must have a Class III license because of the M14's ability to be fired fully-automatically.

However, you can purchase a Springfield Armory M1A ... cosmetically a M14 look-alike, but not capable of fully- automatic fire. The M1A, when properly tuned and equipped is an exceptional target rifle, using either Military or Military equivalent M852 or M118/M118LR ammunition.

You can purchase a new Springfield Armory M1A National Match for about $2100 ... non-match versions go for about $1400. Finding a true M14 (which the BATF will not allow the CMP to sell) would be much more expensive!

Good luck!

I would not reccomend buying online. Sure you have the pics but the pics don't get every single detail and with pics you can use photoshop which some people could use (not that they all are liars and cheaters) to sell their guns. I would reccomend going to a gun show. You get to see the guns close up so you can see every detail and you could get a good price for any gun. I go to one once a year and there are sellers that will give you a warranty and etc. And you should try looking at your local gun shop because a lot of times people will sell some old gun to one of these shops so they can buy a newer gun at the shop.

AFTER BECOMING PROPERLY LICENSED TO OWN CLASS III FIREARMS, you will be able to purchase an M14 at the included links.
