Apparently the world will end when the leviathan and the behemoth meat each other and fight, destroying ALL in the process of destroying each other>>Armageddon
Lucifer is apparently one of a third of all angels to have fallen from Gods favour.
He is now a 'crown prince' of hell representing air along with Belial(earth) leviathan(water) and Satan(fire). S
There are 9 circles of hell, at hells lowest depths people like Satan Brutus, and Cassius are kept, those who have betrayed benefactors (suffer a worse fate than murders and rapists...). Suicides are turned into trees grow leaves and have leaves plucked by imps. Adulterers are left naked in a river of blood surrounded by naked people and overseen my the monitor who prods them with a stick if they try to get to them.
Satan thinks you should indulge, be greedy, have lots of sex, do your very best to succeed, love those who deserve loving and be vengeful when wronged. Once thing Satanism does highlight is the fact that Satan was the 'best' thing that ever happened to the church, it made them rich and powerful. However to have to much pride, be stupid or over confident or forgetful and Satanic sins. That's a Satanists point of view, however Christians believe the fallen angels, including Lucifer, roam the Earth until judgement day until they will be banished to hell (which means they cant already be there)
Its a hard topic to look into because there is no single story about it all, to many people made up stories without taking into account other peoples stories which means angelology and demonology and the bible and the Satanic bible and so on are all full of contradictions.
Hope i helped a little bit, probally just confused you.

Yes. He has all the best tunes, apart of course from the ones written by Johann Sebastian Bach, which are pretty damn good too. But all the rock, all the blues, the jazz, the rap, the R&B, the metal, everything else belongs to the guy with the horns. Oh, except for anything sung by a boyband. Neither god nor satan claim responsibility for that ****.
Please do bear in mind, in the course of your research, that Satan doesn't really exist.

The Bible says that Satan started out as Lucifer. An angel of the highest order. He was so beuatiful that he got a big head and thought that he could be like God and started to have thoughts above his station. For that crime, he was cast out of Heaven (the Bible doesn't say that God created Hell - Hell is where he chose to go and is an absence of good, in my opinion).
About a third of the angels chose to go with him and we now call those entities 'demons'. Lucifer had a burning rage against God and tries to damage Creation in any way he can. The biggest wound would be if he could turn God's final and most loved act of creation - i.e. us - away from Him.

You could go to an online bookstore and look up "spiritual warfare" books to get some christian theory and experience on the issue.
I was brought up in a denomination which didn't believe in Satan. I only realised he was real after reading Mahesh Chavda's biography; Mahesh dealt with a demon in an afflicted individual in a mental asylum he worked at. I realised like it says in "Hamlet" that there is more in heaven and earth than had existed in my neat rationalist philosophy.

In Christianity it says that satan was a fallen angel and one of the most beautiful angels before he "fell to earth like a lightening bolt" as it says in the Bible, tho I really wish I could remember where!
He is dedicated to destroying creation as a way of revenge to the creator and remake it, this means all the good things God wants for us, satan does not. It is out of jealousy for we still stand a chance with God whereas in my understanding he does not for his repeated offences. Human beings are weak and as such we can still want the right things but not do them, so we are given by mercy a second chance.

He was one of God's favorite angels and was kicked out of heaven for being a rebel....he's bad....he's in competition to get as many souls as he can so he will have company in hell. He's powerful...but what I don't understand is if he has read the Bible why he doesn't give up....he doesn't win the big battle.

He is the fallen angel Lucifer (one of the three angels specifically mentioned in the bible). I recommend you read books like the Divine Comedy and Paradise Lost if you are interested in that stuff.
P.S. those might be some tough reads

HI
Yes, Satan the Devil means Slanderer and resister. He is a slanderer of God. Satan was actually a spirit son of God and he didn't stand fast in truth John 8:44. He was endowed with free will, Ezekiel describes him as being the most beautiful of all the angels but his heart grew haughty and he thought he was so beautiful that he deserved worship for himself and this desire grew in his heart until he made it a reality in the garden of Eden and tempted eve to eat the apple to know good from bad so she could make her own decisions and told her she would not die when God Almighty told her she would if she ate from the tree, and in that moment that beautiful angel became a slandered and resister of God. He soon had followers who came down in the days of Noah and took wives for themselves and were very powerful in the Earth, these fallen angels are in the Abyss locked up waiting judgement, as far as possesion goes Jesus caused legion which is a group of fallen angels who turned into resisters of God's truth out of a person and into pigs that went over a cliff and since then there was suppose to be no more humanly possesion but the bible says nothing of them not being about to posses other things so maybe they can. The bible calls him the Father of the Lie, so lies started with him.
