I'm a Christian, and I don't think that at all. In fact, I question Christianity all the time. You're generalizing. You're talking about the uber-evangelical Christians, it seems. Which, I guess, is me generalizing. The Christians who think anyone who questions their religion have issues are really the ones who have issuses, because really, if you don't ask questions, and just believe everything you're told, then you have no mind of your own, and you're a drone. And no one likes a drone.

You have issues!!! J. K. (just kidding) I dont' think everyone who questions Christianity has issues. But to answer your question. If you know everything about the Bible and the history of everything then you can obviously see that the Bible is true. But some people might be slow in recognizing that. The Bible is the most accurate book in history. Copies from thousands of years ago compared to our Bibles now only contain half a page of errors (mechanical errors). And Jesus' love for you is so great so accept him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honk If You Love Jesus:

The other day I saw a ''Honk if you love Jesus'' bumper sticker. I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance followed by a thunderous prayer meeting, so I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper. Boy, am I glad I did! What an uplifting experience that followed! I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord, and how good He is... and I didn't notice that the light had changed. It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have noticed! I found that LOTS of people love Jesus! Why, while I was sitting there, the guy behind me started honking like crazy, and then he leaned out of his window and screamed, ''For the love of GOD! GO, GO!! Jesus Christ, GO!!'' What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus! Everyone started honking! I just leaned out of my window and started waving and smiling at all these loving people. I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love! There must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him yelling something about a ''sunny beach''...I saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger stuck up in the air. When I asked my teenage son what that meant, he said that it was probably a Hawaiian good luck sign or something. Well, I've never met anyone from Hawaii, so I leaned out the window and gave him the good luck sign back. My son burst out laughing...why even HE was enjoying this religious experience! A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars and started walking towards me. I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is when I noticed the light had changed, so I waved one more time to my loving brothers and sisters, grinning, and drove on through the intersection. I noticed I was the only car that got through the intersection before the light changed again and I felt kind of sad that I had to leave them all after all the love we had shared, so I slowed the car down, leaned out of the window and gave them all the Hawaiian good luck sign one more time as I drove away. Praise the Lord for such wonderful folks.

Some Christians, like some Athiests, and some Americans, etc. are easily offended and have closed minds. The sad thing is that if a few do something wrong or closed minded, people of another group will get a stereotype that all must be like that.

Not every Christian has issues for non-believers. It's human nature to stand up for what you believe in/love. If someone tried telling me Jessica Alba wasn't beautiful, I'd argue and assume that person has issues because Jessica Alba is beautiful. . .see my point?

Christians have always been questioned without resorting to violence...so what are you talking about?
Why don't you go to Saudi Arabia and question Islam?
You surely would return headless without issues or tissues.

My guess is insecurity in their beliefs. I know that my faith encourages all its members to find out for themselves whether it is true and to seek out wisdom. It is not bad to ask questions, as long as you open to the answers and actually want answers. I do think there are more people that aren't offended than you think, but you just happen to come across the others.

Because they lack anything but blind faith to support their convictions, and as such get scared when someone starts showing evidence against god...
