I had braces fitted the last week: I know it is too early to see any changes yet, but was just wondering how long others waited before they could see changes/movement of their teeth!!

usually once they have been tightened a couple of times,i had recently had mine taken off after 15 months, it took about 12 weeks to notice a difference really!! good luck, they will be fab in the end!!!

Not for at least a couple of months. Hard to tell because you see your teeth everyday. People who you dont see all the time will notice before you do.

I extremely have had braces for 2 years, and truthfully definite, you will see a small exchange. the 1st week or 2 your tooth would be in various of soreness for the braces to commence adjusting and doing its artwork to straighten your tooth up. you will later savour having them and could experience wonderful as quickly as they're bumped off given which you have a severe high quality set of tooth.

Give it another week or two, and you should start noticing something! They'll need to stay on for quite a while though, and the correction may need to be maintained by using a retainer afterwards.

Normally when your teeth start hurting. A week is nothing, wait a month.

i don't know about most people, but i saw changes very quickly! in a about a month i could see the difference. i only had my braces on for two years and two months, but lots of people are different.
by the way, it is VERY important that you do what your orthodontist says! it may seem like a hassle, but its worth it...trust me!

for me it honestly only took a couple days and within 1 and 1/2 months there was a big diff.

i'm not sure how long it took me. i never really saw any, but others did. that's probably because i saw my teeth daily. if you feel the pain then something is deff happening.
