Hi all! I have been on a diet of fresh fruit and veg and all things nice and healthy for a few months now, and I have joined a gym where i brisk walk and do steps and weight training for a good 45 minutes every day.
But i am still having trouble losing those last pounds of weight...what can i do, except cut off one of my limbs lol? I would appreciate any tips on this, and whatever worked for you
Thanks in advance!

I cant skip any meals.its not a healthy habit to do this, as straving yourself will lead to weight gain, as you deprive your body from fuel, and its metabolism lowers (ie MORE PROBLEMS!)

Do some High Intensity Interval Training. warm up for a minute, then run as fast as you can for a minute, then brisk walk for a minute, repeat til you hit 20 minutes. do that 3 days a week with a nice weight routine of 30 minutes or so before you do the running and you should hopefully see some added losses.

Instead of brisk walking, try jogging as this will burn more calories. Also make sure you do a circuit with your weight training to burn the most calories and make good use of your time. To burn the most fat, jog in the morning before breakfast so your body cannot use carbs from breakfast. Also, don't eat big before bedtime and combine psyllium husks with your dinner to slow down the insulin rush. Also, CLA can be bought at any GNC which has been shown to help people lose weight. Good luck! hopefully you are getting the protein you need.

Remember muscle weighs more than fat so, if you weight lift you will increase you weight, but in a good way. If you want to lose weight do the low-calorie diet thing. Put on an extra layer of clothing when you work out. that will make your body temp increase which will burn more calories in fat. Try going in a sauna if there is one around where you live, that will get excess water that you don't use out of you making you weigh less. Another thing, you can try one of these as a meal replacment that tastes good:
Slimfast shake(vanilla) mixed with pineapple and mangos, a scoop of protein powder(vanilla),a scoop of fat-free frozen yogert(vanilla), and a pinch of a sugar subsitute like equal, spenda...ect.

since you are working out frequently, you are gaining muscle mass, so you may not lose those last few pounds. You may be to the point of where you need to tone the muscle you have. It's hard to diet, so if the veg and fruit is working for you don't change it now. i have to eat small meals about six times a day to keep my metabolism high. Whatever works... go with it!

As you know the more weight you lose and the more you excersize the harder it becomes to lose weight as you gain muscle mass.
What kind of workouts are you doing? Increase your workouts by 10 minutes every session, push it just a little harder. Do you do any cardio workouts? Those are great for getting things pumping within and helping burn off those unwanted calories!
Keep your chin up, don't get down on yourself! These last few pounds WILL come off, just remember, essentially they already have, you just gained muscle mass!
You can do it Girl!

Quit drinking soda pop, even diet soda pop. Start drinking water. For breakfast, eat a bowl of Special K, Cheerios, or Oatmeal Crisp cereal with Skim Milk. For Lunch, eat a Turkey sandwich on Wheat Bread, using Mustard or Fat Free Mayo. For Dinner, have some type of Lean Meat, a Salad, and A slice of Wheat Bread. Between meals, and in the evening, if you get hungry, eat some dry cereal and/or drink water. Also, when you eat your food, take small bites, and chew your food slow. This will help you to get filled up quicker and eat less.

well maybe you are not eating enough? WHen you burn cals then you have to eat enough to restore them so that they can burn. Say you are on a 1400 cal a day plan and you burn 400 at the gym so then you really are only taking in 1000. Your body will go in to stravation mode and you would lose. Make sure you are eating enough.
