Why is this an emergency? You weighing 150 pounds is not an emergency. You did not just wake up this morning 30 pounds heavier so quit with the dramatics. If you are overweight then you should do some exercising to get back into shape. Good luck with that.

please don't freak about weight...its not healthy, and stress will only make it worse. If you want to be healthy, do healthy things. Eat food that is good for you, not what sugary foods. There are plenty of foods that are good for you and taste good. My favorite snacks are raisins and yogurt, or pretzels. Also, exercise! I know its not fun for most people, but it really helps. It doesn't have to be anything hard core. Try taking a nice walk at your favorite time of the day, getting some weights, or even doing some pushups and situps. If those are too boring to you, try blasting your favorite music while you do them, or playing a workout game, such as Dance Dance Revolution(my absolute favorite workout!!!).
Remember:When exercising, workout until you muscles are feeling a littlle bit of a burning sensation, but stop BEFORE you become dizzy, or if you become very short of breath or your heart hurts. Strectch before AND after workouts, or you will injure youself or have your muscles be unbearably sore for a couple of days.
Some motivation: I run cross country in the fall and play Dance Dance Revolution daily. Believe me, when you exercise, you feel a lot less stressed and your mind feels very clear. Its a very nice feeling, I promise.

Hope this helps!

Just remember: weight isn't everything! Do not use weight loss as your motivation! It's easy to go overboard that way. Use your personal health and feeling good about yourself as the motivation!

I dont understand why people are so obsessed with thier weight!!! You are perfect sized right now... not everyone can be a super skinny, super-model! I wouldnt even want to be! I am happy the way I am right now, and I feel you should too. But if you feel you would be happier if you lost some weight, go for it. Just do it in a healthy way, no crash diets or not eating.

Honey, that really is not overweight. That is a healthy avereage for someone of your height. If you are not satisfied, than try just starting out with 5-10 pounds and see how you feel. But honestly, you are perfect right there!

At 5'6 I don't think you're overweight at 150. If at all, only about 10 or less lbs.

Remember, weight is nothing. All weight is is how much gravity is pulling down on you. That doesn't matter. What matters is your body fat. Being overweight and being obease are two different things.

OMG, don't be such a DRAMA QUEEN.

Being overweight is not an emergency. What? You just now noticed that you are a little pudgy?

Yes, you need to lose about 20 lbs.
