More than the simple matter that they are based on fact....they are also BELIEVABLE. Bible stories are just that...STORIES. They were not writeen by the people who did those things. They were written by a guy who heard a story about another guy that did these things. Biology and astronomy are rooted in fact. If you want to know if a snail, in fact, has a hard shell you need only go outside and find a snail to prove that it is true. If you want to prove that God gave the 10 commandments to Moses.....well..... You and Indiana Jones both!

The Truth really is much more interesting, that is why I like to look at all the books and compare them.

I guess you have to have a love for the author. I find the Bible to be refreshing, intensely interesting, and reassuring. I guess that father son relationship add a lot of interest... Jim
