Get her into some puppy training classes. you can bring some treats with you when you walk her and she will definitely get up for them.

Just keep trying. Our puppy was stubborn to but I brought some treats and gave her praise and treats when she'd walk. Start off with back and forth infront of your house then work from one house to yours until you have a dog who'll walk down the street with you. After that, she'll walk everywhere.

Just make walks fun so when you say walk, the dog will come running and be excited to go.

Awe congrats on your new puppy. Be very patient and when she sits down just stand her back up and say lets go for a walk and act excited show it in your voice and if she follows you praise her. Keep doing this your the pack leader don't just let her sit. At Pet-co you can buy these little clickers for a buck and look on line to see how to clicker train your new pup she will learn soon. Patience and lots of love and firmness will be required from you.

Peter S, you are so CRUEL! That is no way to get a cute little dog to walk! >:(
I think you should just keep trying to walk your puppy, because I had this exact same problem with my puppy. All you've got to do is keep trying, and eventually your puupy will love walks. You can try giving your puppy treats when she comes, and you should let her sniff some things, but not other dog's poo.

If she is under 12 weeks old then she is too young to go for long walk or for that matter any walks. They are just too young to go for walks just yet.
Give her time she will get the hang of it when she gets older.

she may be warry of the lead . i would suggest just attaching it and letting her walk freely around your home...then gradually pick it up and take a few steps ...spring is around the corner ,,hopefully this will help and you will enjoy your walks ,,as will she

Does she have a harness or is her leash on a collar? If you haven't tried a harness, get one! My dog hates to be pulled on his collar (who wouldn't hate that?) but loves his harness. PLUS, I can control him better with the harness.
