do people who are outspoken, rude, and blunt, have people skills?

my boyfriend can say whatever he wants, whenever, and to whomever, no matter how it comes across...which I LOVE him for, because nobody f***s with him and he can kick anybody's a**, but anyway, does this make him have the ability to have "people skills"

Yes, they do. They probably have "other types" of people skills! Personally, I think blunt & outspoken is ok. There is no excuse for being rude. I am very forward, blunt & assertive, but NEVER rude or tactless... and I'm in sales which requires a lot of people skills. Others actually comment on how extensive my people skills are... and nobody f***s with me either =)

Not really -- while its good to be outspoken and unafraid of what other people think of you, and you tell it how it is -- people skills is more the ability to be diplomatic while using your experience to work with people of all types and at different levels

I'm Blunt, I'm Outspoken. My friends love me for it because if there hair looks bad then I'm gonna tell em. I don't walk up to strangers and say 'dude you ah UGLY.' But if they ask me imma tell them.

My husband is like this, no they do have people skills. They have no patience and tolerance. My husband hates stupid people, he doesn`t listen to them, in fact he will turn his head the other way if he thinks you don`t have anything reasonable to say!!!!
