My boyfriend of 2 1/2 years broke up with me last tuesday. it has been really hard on me, but I am dealing the best I can. I am on an intramural volleyball team with all of his girl friends from his team. They are all his friends more than they are my friends and they are all taking his side. I think one of the girls on the team is interested in him and I think he is using her as his rebound girl...or at least spending the time he spent with me with her so he won't be alone.

The question I have is should I go to the game tonight and play? or should i just find something else to do? I want to go to the game b/c i want to show them that i am strong and that it doesnt bother me. But i dont want to go b/c i don't know if I will be able to handle it esp. if he is there and i see him with her.

Absolutely, go! And show both opf them, everyone for that matter how a mature person is handling the situation. I'd say you even tell him Hi (no need for a conversation, though!). Good luck. Hopefully you can focus your energy on the game. It would probably be a great release.
