And I challenge you to read the bible daily and pray to God daily, for a whole year. I do not trust in what man or scientist say. I trust in the bible and the words of God. There is too much information in the bible for it not to be true. Satan does work in ways that will try and turn anyone against our creator. He has set out to prove god a liar and not worthy to be our ruler. Many heads are turning towards Satan, but twice as many will hold strong to their faith and believe and trust in god. And it is your choice to believe in evolution, just as it is our right to believe in God. And if the argument (humans/monkeys)gets your blood boiling that bad I would have to ask why? God is the creator, so deal with it.

Since Darwin's time, massive additional evidence has accumulated supporting the fact of evolution--that all living organisms present on earth today have arisen from earlier forms in the course of earth's long history. Indeed, all of modern biology is an affirmation of this relatedness of the many species of living things and of their gradual divergence from one another over the course of time. Since the publication of The Origin of Species, the important question, scientifically speaking, about evolution has not been whether it has taken place. That is no longer an issue among the vast majority of modern biologists. Today, the central and still fascinating questions for biologists concern the mechanisms by which evolution occurs.
The mechanisms by which evolution occurs has not been figured out and still stumps science today. God, the creator/intelligent designer, has put these mechanisms in place to occur.
That is why for some Christians, like myself, it is possible to have a creator who created all things, yet leaves some things to reproduce and evolve on their own, based on how he designed them.

I agree with you, but the ones that are still asking the same questions over and over again think they ARE educated. They could read every book on evolution and they still won't believe in it.
What gets my blood boiling are the ones that specifically call out Atheists or non believers in their Christian god, ask a questions...get some pretty good answers, and then complain that they're not getting any intelligent answers and then insult us and then go crying that we're the ones persecuting them.
And Rob...maybe you should do a little more research on Mitochondrial DNA....it doesn't prove Creation, it proves Evolution.
Cells in current organisms, the vast majority of proteins found in the mitochondria (~1500 in mammals) are encoded by nuclear DNA: some, if not most, are thought to have been originally of bacterial origin and have since been transferred to the nucleus during evolution.

Well if it made ANY sense at all we wouldn't have to question it. I learned it in school, never believed it and still don't. It didn't happen. It's not logical at all. Even the science teacher couldn't argue with alot of points we made. This is why it is the "theory" of evolution. Not the facts.
I don't know what "chunking" a lap top is....but go for it if you don't like the questions.

Many CAN'T come up with a better argument. I admit that freely, and I'm a Christian.
Many Christians are fortunate enough to rely on faith alone. They don't NEED to know how God created the earth; they just know He did it. They don't need to know whether there is any evidence to support the Bible or not; they just believe it's the Word of God, and that's all there is to it.
I am NOT one of those Christians. I am constantly asking questions, searching, and researching. I'm not satisfied with the "God did it" kind of answers, and I'm not satisfied with all the apologetics either, though they do help. I can't rely on faith alone. I wish I could.
Just because Christians give those kinds of answers does NOT mean that they're ignorant. I wouldn't call it ignorance. It's just that their faith is so strong they don't NEED a good argument against evolution.
For the record, many of the arguments AGAINST Christianity and Christians made by nonbelievers are just as ridiculous.

The Bible dosen't say much about what went on befor 6000 years ago, when GOD made Adam outta dirt.
There were dino's and what-ever.
I am waiting for the proof that GOD used evolution for anything.
Although I do personally believe that species can adapt, through DNA changes, but not change into another species.
Hey,I heard somebody say that if a laptop dies, it might come back as a radio shack color computer 2. I'd be carefull bout' that!
Hope this helps.

Sure, I can come up with another (I dunno about it being better lol) argument ... you.
You said "I am so sick of... just might possibly chunk this laptop..." and you said "ignorance in itself gets my blood boiling". Why did you say these things?
What part of evolution includes concern for others? If evolution is the only answer, then what biological/chemical need do you have that necessitates becoming angry over the "ignorance" of others?
No other mammal, fish, reptile or whatever species becomes angry over the beliefs or ignorance of another of its species. Not even monkeys care about others that way :)

Wait a minute... this is a trick... grab an axe! Christians don't attend libraries. They want answers without doing any research for themselves. Hence church. And you know they won't question the answers if a guy in a dress gives it to them. Course, it helps if the answer (or question) is simple. Like the "if we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys" thing - often given with a "wink" by guys in robes and their followers.
My advice? Go ahead and chunk the laptop. (Hope it's not a Mac) - fact is, this is the U.S. where every child is left behind - unless their parents have plenty of money - otherwise, ignorance is here to stay. For now.

Then you must be mad at youself alot. Only the ignorant belive in evolution. For evolution to be a fact it would have to be a never ending cycle. It is not....

Uh! ... I highly recommend that
you don't throw that laptop
across the room!
It probably won't survive!
I know it won't.
Why not try a taking a break for a little while!
This helps a whole lot of people most of the time!
As far as Evolution, I am still reading about it.
May I interest you in a .... Uh! ...
maybe not ... I don't want your
laptop broken because of me!
