Why did you ask such a stupid question?
Not all of them do. Those who do, you might have been one of their problems. Have you made stereotypical comments? I don't know. Not enough info.

Anyone who blames another for something done in the past are just ignorant.
They need to forgive and start living life with gratitude. How sad that one can keep themselves in such a negative situation.

BTW - This is the first indication you've given anyone to think you aren't guilty. Maybe if you had mentioned this earlier they would have stopped...

Are you human? That must be it. They blame humanity for all their problems with their whole, "We've been persecuted every place we've ever been," shtick. (See, I used Yidish, to be inclusive.)
Any normal person who hears another person say they've been persecuted everywhere they went would conclude: 1) You either have a persecution complex, what you say is not true, and you are misremembering history; or 2) If vastly different people, in vastly different areas of the world, over vastly different time periods all persecuted you, it must be because there is something wrong with you.
