I think there might be a stomach bug going around, and I haven't actually come into contact with anyone who has it (that I know of) and I use germ-x almost religiously, so what's the chance that I could get it?

(I'm terrified of throwing up and stuff like this, so that's why I'm asking)

Some viruses are airborn. You could be out in public and someone coughs and sprays their spittle all over.....bingo, they just spread the virus.

Germ-X is ok, but nothing beats washing your hands, too. For 20 seconds under warm water. That's a lot longer than most people wash. Just don't touch your face with your hands---no eyes, mouth or nose. That's the main way you get germs.
