Are you sure he only likes you as a friend? Why don't you just spend more and more time with him and start flirting with him and maybe he'll make the first move. If not, just ask if he would consider a romantic relationship(in other words, more than friends). Just wait until a time where y'all are laughing and having lots of fun and you realize again how much you like him. I hope everything works out for you.☺
