THIS IS TRUE. i was playing with my wednsday group behing a slow league, after waiting at evry shot for 7 holes, i left the group to play 5, 6, and 7 before they could finish 8 and 9 and on the 160 yd par three 5th that is up 100' to the top of a hill i found my tee shot IN THE HOLE and i could see my buddies in the 8th fairway and i yell "HEY!!! I JUST GOT A HOLE IN ONE!!!! and my buddy says "Yeah, sure you did". So there you have it. It doesn't matter if you're the most honest person in the World. It may have happened, but you're not allowed to talk about it.

I knew i had my first hole-in-one. So i told everyone including my first golfin buddy, who never had a hole-in-one. Two weeks later i show him the 160 yd par 3 5th and after he duffed the tee shot into the stream, i gave him my first mulligan EVER, when he proceeded to get HIS FIRST HOLR-IN-ONE EVER!!!

NO LIE!!! This is the truth. Each of us got our first hole-in-one on the same hole 2 weeks apart, after playing 10 yrs of olf and this is not an easy par 3, in fact it's very difficult.

Anyways, neither one of us talk about it much, except to each other. Feats, like a hole-in-one, are much more fun to talk about when its witnessed by a large group of associates.

You shouldn't play alone anyway. The whole reason to go golfing is to go out and get drunk with a bunch of buddies. But yeah, it's still a hole in one.

Well it would still be considered a hole in one...but people MIGHT not believe you. Thats probably one of the worst things that could happen actually...cuz a lot of people will probably think youre lying.

In match play, Stroke play, Club medal, you need to have a playing partner for your score to count, anyhoo's if you play alone and you hit a hole in one yes it does still count but count for what its only good for your own self esteem, and if you tell your friends they will probably not believe you.

No. Official golf rules say that you must have 2 witnesses.

USGA rules state you must have 2 (two) witnesses for it to be an official hole in one.
