Do you know why it was faked?

Better yet, actually research the subject yourself. To really be able to dispute an argument, you must know both sides. If you have not read why it was faked throughly, you really can't debate it.

Any good attorney will tell you that.

The crucification of Jesus, His burial and His resurrection were real. For without the resurrection we have no hope.

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

It was real....really staged, that is.

Why? well, how else is someone to "fulfill the prophency", other than staging his own death and then miraculously returning to life?? The clues are right there inside the Bible itself. Joseph brings herbs associated with healing into the tomb, not with embalming, as would be expected, if you thought he was dead. You wouldnt bring healing herbs in unless you knew he was still alive. Also, Jesus dies within seconds of being given a sponge soaked in vinegar - the exact opposite reaction that anyone on earth has (It was supposed to reinvigorate him so he could experience more pain.) Most likely, he was given belladonna on that sponge - a known drug at that time which produced a nearly undecetable heartbeat and shallow breathing.

YES, I do believe that it was REAL. I never heard of it being faked in the first place.

If it was fake we wouldn't be talking about it. His disciples would have stayed hidden instead of risking their lives preaching Jesus and Him risen.

Ask the martyrs that still think both he and they are still being crucified.
