In the Catholic religion, the priest acts only as the messenger to God, he isn't the one who forgives you, God is.

You don't have to confess your sins to a priest... Jesus is the direct line to God to ask to be forgiven.
Another human can NOT forgive you of your sins... regardless if you know or not that you sin.
I understand the priest role in a Catholic church, but you do not need to confess your sins and ASK FORGIVENESS. A priest can't forgive you of your sins that you have committed against God or another person.... a priest can forgive you if you have sinned against him and him alone.
All you have to do is ask God to forgive you of your sins that you willfully and unknowingly have committed.

You cannot commit a sin without knowing it. You can do something that is objectively immoral without knowing it is immoral, but sin always includes a subjective component. It is a deliberate offense against God. If through no fault of your own you didn't know something was morally wrong and you did it, then it was not a sin. However, if you didn't know it was morally wrong because you just didn't bother to find out, or worse, you purposely avoided finding out, then committing the act was sinful, just as though you had full knowledge.

Then its only a Venial Sin and you can be absolved of it by making an Act of Contrition (prayer) and also at Mass automatically.
Mortal Sins take intent and knowledge of the sin's nature. Only Mortal Sins must be absolved through Confession, but it is recommended to go to Confession regularly anyway.

Yes you can. Those are called "sins of omission". Just ask the Lord to forgive you of all sins known and unknown. He will do it.

Back In the days when I was Catholic - they told me that if you did not know it is a sin it is not a sin.

If you want your boss to forgive you, do what it says in the employee handbook. If you want the Catholic church to forgive you, do what it says in the Catholic catechism. If you want God to forgive you, do what it says in the bible.
