I'm not laughing. You are depressed and confused for various reasons.
Can you find a counselor?
Good luck!

I am so sorry you are having such a difficult time. I hope your mother is being supportive. Under the circumstances, I suspect she is dealing with some difficult issues, too, and the two of you could offer each other some mutual support.
Make an appointment to see a school psychologist. Your feelings are real and not irrational. A psychologist can help you deal with your losses and offer you advice on active ways to do something with your life, not feel that life is something that happens to you.
The people who are laughing are simply immature and do not know how to deal with your problems in a constructive way. That is why you need help from a professional. The sooner you get help, the faster you can overcome your feelings of depression. Failure to address your problems could lead to very serious consequences.
Please understand that this is very important. You deserve to be given the help you need. If your school does not have anyone qualified, consult a doctor or clergyman or ask an understanding teacher for a referral.

Ahh thats not wierd at all and I don't get why anyone would laugh at you. The good thing is that you could have found yourself a future career. You should be a vet or do something where you can help animals! Thats one way you can look on the bright side of things. You can find people to talk to though. People who won't laugh. Your school guidance counselor is a great start, and you wouldn't be wierd for talking to him/her. I used to talk to mine all the time and she helped me threw a lot! Plus, its all private, anything you say. They can't talk to anyone else about what you said because its against the law! I know things like this are hard, but trust me, they get better with time. And having someone to talk to REALLY helps too! Good luck and hang in there!

If you feel this strong about your animals, and I see you do, then what anyone else thinks shouldnt matter to you. Anyone who cares for animals the way you do has God himself on their side. People, who dont really understand, ridicule others for their beliefs. Its a mean and cruel world out there and probably wont change any day soon so you have to learn to ignore the insults and just keep reminding yourself that God is very proud of you for standing up for his animals, which there arent many, and that he loves you for being you. God will always have a special place with his animals for you someday. You are part of a very unique and outstanding group and never let anyone change your beliefs no matter how much fun they make of you. They will answer to God someday for their actions. The animals of the world need a whole lot more people like you to stand up for them. So you really have no reason to be sad and depressed here but to the contrary, to be very proud and hold your head high for the animals. You have my deepest admiration for your beliefs. Good luck

When our lives change and the change is out of our control we tend to focus on things that are within our control - perhaps that is how you are feeling about your animals.
Loving, caring and treating your animals as members of your family is completely normal and acceptable. When a family member dies, suddenly or not, we tend to dwell on what could have been done differently. It is not unheard of to overcompensate towards the surviving loved ones.
I am sorry that there has been so much loss for you recently. You need to deal with it in your own way, in your own time. Just remember that accidents happen, but we will drive ourselves crazy trying to predict and avoid the inevitable. Enjoy those around you - human and animal - every day!
Ignore those who make you feel bad about the way you feel. You own your feelings. They are yours to express the way you need to. It is sad that they are unable to see through and extend compassion towards you. It is their problem, not yours.

I feel like my pets are just the same as my children, so I know where your coming from. It sounds like you have a lot that has hit you in a short period of time. Try not to let other's incensitivity bother you. They just don't understand. A good pet will be there for you no matter what. My wife says I love my pets more than her. She knows better, but she feels this way sometimes because of the way I treat them. They are a true gift of Love and Affection. Sorry for your loss. Your not alone, take care.

Don't worry there! Losing anyone you loved can be heartbreaking, but time will ALWAYS heal your wounds. It wasn't your fault, and there was nothing you can do about it, but the best thing is, you got to spend time with your kitten while it was still alive and it got the best treatment and love! Those memories should be cherished because your kitten had a good life! Don't blame yourself for anything! Time will eventually heal your troubles with your parents too. Don't worry, it works. Be around the people you love and talk to them! They will always make you feel better!

It doesn't sound that weird. You love your animals. Besides, you are dealing with a lot of stress and sadness lately. I suggest finding someone you can talk to about your feelings and problems (maybe a professional) who won't laugh. Also, if it doesn't upset you too much, maybe get a new pet.

Basically, life sucks and then you die. If you were sad about everything that was mean and horrible in the world, then you would have killed yourself a long time ago. It does suck that that happened to your kitten...but life goes on even though everything around us is dying. Don't dwell, move forward, not backward. Be happy that you are alive today and enjoy each moment because it could be your last.

I am so sorry about your kitty although I wanted to tell you that your kitty died at an inopportune time. He wasn't the reason your parents split, that is something that happened between them, it had nothing to do with you or your kitten. Please understand that. If you still struggle with this, see your school counselor who will help you get through this, as for the people laughing, it is because they don't understand.

i don't love animals as much as u, but i feel for u. obviously u are more depressed than u should be. i think you she see a psychologist. it might help u grieve and let go. i'm sure that any normal psychologist won't laugh at you. after all, animals may not be able to talk , but they are living beings that give love and have souls. best of luck.
