I'd probably go for the car. The average guy out here can't afford to buy you a ring with that many carats, that you'd choose the ring over the car. But, if you got it like that, go for the ring.

I would never let a guy buy me a car. It's my job to buy my own damn car. If it were the appropriate place in the relationship, a diamond ring would be good. (There's no such thing as an engagement car, though)

it depends if the girl has a car already. if ur planning on buying a nicer one than she already has, then buy the car. if she already has a nice car, then get the ring. after all, diamonds are a girls best friend!

What a girl likes is a MEANINGFUL gift, not a material gift. *Monetary* value does not reflect a gift's *emotional* value.
Please don't assume all women are that shallow, even if you are. Diamonds and cars are both very nice gifts, and if given with love either is great, but you can't buy love.

depends on how long u've been dating. I say for a long period of time car (but eventually ring).
If around like 6months-1 year dimond ring.

Actually my boyfriend asked me not to long ago, if I wanted the wedding ring, or a house. I chose the house!
