my ex..for a little over a yr has said he's "sooo over" what we had..even though it was quite special..he bought me my favorite roses and some stuffed animals..we only dated for 2-3 months. we broke up cause of distance..but still..it was wonderful what time we did date. but..i'm having issues letting go. why was he so successful in getting over us and i'm not?
what can i do to get over him?

It's game of mind...and psychology..
He got over this because
1. he realized that this won't work ( cause may be him or you )
2. personality/chemistry mismatch
3. incompatibility issues ( distance, dreams, life goals , style )
Remember that he is doing you a favor by breaking up now instead of continuing relationship so that you can find someone more suitable than him
May be he was smart enough to realize that this won't work
May be he just wanted to use you for sometime,
How to get over him..
Think of issues that would make your relationship incompatible, love is sometimes blind.... unless you deliberately think about it you won't realize
Be thankful to him for going away from your life so soon, he could have used you more and made your life more bitter by breaking up late. I know this is difficult but possible
Be careful when you completely trust someone else.
By the way breaking up is so common.
Unless you are not committed to each other equally, it may not be worth it. Match is made in heaven...

Be thankful he was honest with you..It shows you taught him right..! (high five) ....Have you tried meeting other people as in other guy's..?...What does the distance have to do with anything....? love's patient..Remember how adult you guy's where thru this process and remain friends who knows you never know what will happen later.... Love is patient..! you ask why he was so successful in getting over you 2....We all handle things thoughts and present and past situations differently..wether it's easy or a struggle...The only thing I can suggest to you as far as forgeting him is to keep yourself busy and go out and meet some guy's..I know it's not the same....but there's better and there's worse......don't worry your going to collect wrinkles...hehe... muah!!

He is a guy! I am not attacking any males but it is easier for a male to get over something faster because they don't use more emotions like Females. My suggestion is get back into the "dating game", Go out with a couple of good buddies and just party.

Well i was in a same relationship too and i still am :) we have our fight shere and there but we both get over it all the time . but if he's over you already and you cant here's my advice try to erase every memory that you have of him and dont call him no matter how much you want .just try to forget about him and go on with somone new ...im pretty sure you will find somone else

its hard cause u know u wont have anyone else like him. .the way he treated u and the things he did for u.. thats whats hard.. u just have to try and move on.. im still getting over a guy i dated last year.. im engaged to someone else.. really strange i know. u just have to try like me!!! good luck to u

one way of getting over him is to find someone else to occupy ur time.and never try to compare anyone else to him ,that wont work. its a slow and painful process at times but u can do it.
