The Vet's are saying watch their water intake. They will drink more water. Also if they are sick, they will become lethargic.
Take the dog to the Vet right away.

I'm in the same boat with my cat. I bought the cheap Wal-mart brand cat food and then the recall came. I think she ate at least 5 pouches of it. I have been really paraniod with her. I am taking her to the vet for a kidney function test just to let myself relax. It really makes me mad that this could kill my cat. Our pets are very special to us and I don't know why they didn't recall this stuff sooner. They left it on the shelves for us to buy while they were testing to see if it really was thier food that was killing these animals. There's no excuse. I hope your dog is OK. Just watch for an increase in the amount of water he drinks and watch how many times he urinates. Those are the first signs, Usually if you wait untill the animal is lethargic it's too late. Good luck

all i know about the effect is the animal starts to become
lethargic, food & water intake will decrease, what i heard so far is many poor cats & dogs died, it just pisses me off. the news said something about some wheat gluten which supposedly had some mold or so in it & that supposedly is what made it go all bad. no matter what went wrong all the animals who had to suffer just because some stupid food processing factory screwed up. i saw this couple on ABC
they lost their Rotweiler & their cat to these circumstances,
it just got to me seing the pain in their eyes, the guy said he
feels guilty 'cause he gave the animals the food , i think the
guidlines need to be stricter for dog/cat or any animal food
just as it is for us !!! anyone of us who has animals loves them
& there's nothing the comp. could do to take the pain away
all these people went/goe through from losing their buddies
i am seriously thinking about starting to cook my own food for
my dogs, i used a long time ago & at least i knew then exactly
what they ate

Oh God. I stay in Ohio. curiously so do a good form of dumbasses because of fact many issues have been occurring right here at present. specific, i do save collars on my canines, so as that in the event that they run away- they are able to be back, as nicely the microchip way of path. additionally, i want them to stroll them, aside from the small canines, they have harnesses.

lethargic, vomitting, no appatite, and constant diarrhea that is the symptoms of poisoning. which is what was in the food.
