of course it doesn't work. If it did, we'd all be living in mansions on the beach sucking down Mai Tais and praising Jesus and Mary. But Catholics all over the world do this crapo all day every day and have no prayers of any kind answered and continue to live in grinding poverty and want and fear and disease while they waste their lives pouring out their hearts to statues.

Negative ...why would you pray to Mary ? That's idolatry...She' a sinner like all of us , she was some one who was a believer that God could trust. Pray to the Father for salvation through his son Jesus.
