What does grain alcohol, ex: everclear, taste like? Can you smell it? Does it burn? If mixed with punch, does it just taste like punch?

If I mixed it with fruit punch...I wouldn't be able to taste it but it'd burn?

Grain alcohol, IE Everclear, is not intended to be consumed straight. It is 95% alcohol and would make most vomit if taken straight. It is great to make a punch out of and somehow mixes smoothly: tastes best mixed with kool aide (+ a lot of sugar) or Gatorade powder mix. Also, soak fruit in it before you make the punch (grapes, watermelon cubes ets) as they will soak up the alcohol and you can eat them without the bad taste. Alone, It does smell, and will definitely burn.

Grain alcohol has a taste, very unique. Yes, you can smell it. It will burn if it is at least 120 proof. If you mix it with punch, you will be able to taste it if you add enough. Grain alcohol is not a smooth beverage, especially if it is not mixed with something.

doesn't have much of a taste at all. but you sure know it if you take a shot...it is also highly flammable, so be careful around flames with it. it doesn't taste like punch, but mixes well with punch...drink something else. the stuff is poison

Everclear does not taste bad. in fact, although there is some burning reported by sensitive persons, most say its oddly warm, numbing and a little like cake with fruit, but little sugar.

Tastes like rubbing alcohol, burns like hell, yes, you can smell it and STAY THE F*** AWAY FROM IT.
