I am writing a paper on Twining and more when the Mother used fertility Drugs (thats not the title, I haven't thought of one yet). I am wondering if anyone has conceived twins or triplets on Clomid, Gonal-f or other non IVF fertility treamtments? If so what days and doses did you take Clomid? As for Gonal-f what days did you do it also and did you take any other medications in conjunction? What other treatments did you try? How many cycles did it take you to get pregnant? What was the results of every pregnancy that occurred while you were on fertility medications. (MC, SB, singleton, twin, triplet, more) One last question... What was the cause of your infertility. This is a pretty important question that I need answered for this paper. I got pregnant with twins on the second cycle of Clomid. I was supposed to take it the 5-9th days of my cycle; however, the month I got pregnant, I didn't. I had forgotten to take a pill one night due to celebrating my anniversary so I doubled up the next day by taking one in the morning and another pill late at night. I also forgot to take the pill on the 9th day so took it the morning of the 10th. I had decided that month, after being so irresponsible with the drug, to stop taking it, but regardless, we gave getting pregnant a shot! I took a pregnancy test on the 28th day and it was negative. By the 35th day it was positive. An 8 week scan revealed fraternal twins. Cause of infertility was probably stress (I got pregnant after ten months of trying every month). No tests revealed any obvious fertility problems. I already had one child before the twins, conceived on the third month of trying and my fourth, after the twins, was on the first try. Go figure!

I tried Clomid for 3 months and it didn't work for me.I took pergonal dont remember the dosage but it took 3 cycles. I had a IUI (inter uterine insemination) in combination with the drugs and conceived twins. They could not determine the reason for my infertility.I had several test done that were inconclusive. The twins were born at 38 weeks and were almost 7 lbs each healthy as can be.
