can anyone tell me the easiest way to cook these 2 (w/out microwaving)? no flavoring necessary. i want to eat them healthy and plain.

For the cabbage, use about 1 cup of water, and boil them/steam them. I like steaming better. Keeps the nutrients in.

Rice: follow instructions on packaging.
Or, for every cup of rice use 2 cups of water. I would go with 1/2 cups though. Depending on how many you are serving.

you just boil it in a pot.
