Oh, I think I love you! I was so on the defense just waiting for this to be another prejudice post- but its not.
I like muslim people just as I like jewish people and hindu people and christian people and so on. I like the people I like because the people they are individually. Not everybody is the same. My husband is muslim and the one thing I like about him is the fact that he has such a sense of respect for other people and he is not impulsive. He thinks before he acts and is incredibally intelligent. He doesnt take the things he has for granted and he never complains. Unlike alot of people I know who grew up here in the states, he doesnt value material things as much and has great work ethic.
Well, thats what I like about one nice muslim person I know.

And I like your question. I'm a Muslim and I quote words of some convert to Islam with which I totally agree: "I'm lucky to get to know Islam before I got to know Muslims."
It's the religion that shapes the positive things in Muslims, yet unfortunately many Muslims don't stick to principles of Islam. Islam teaches people to respect each other and teaches Muslims to respect followers of other religions. I agree with you, I also like people who respect me and respect my friends, whether they are Muslims, Christians, Jews, Atheists, Hindus, Baha'is...
Unfortunately I've been dealing a lot with Muslims and I found some of them very disrespectful: I'm talking about racism, nationalism and even Islamophobia or sometimes they can be plainly rude.
It's a paradox that Islam is for salvation of humanity but many Muslims are working towards its destruction. It's because many Muslims have abandoned Islam and start making problems to the World. You were lucky not to meet them, or you've met them but you couldn't tell they were Muslims.

Hard to say. I've met some disrespectful hypocrites (mostly men) as well as some friendly and sincere ones. I've met one who was just the same kind of person as me. They say, that they worship the God of Abraham, maybe that's why I find them interesting

Because they are so nice and peaceful and only once did a group of young Muslim youths call me an effing white b'stard, I really thought they were going to beat me up when I crossed over the lonely back-street to confront them... but they apologised.

I like them for much the same reason you do! I also totally respect their commitment to God, as shown by their commitment to pray 5 times a day, memorize their Scriptures, and dress modestly in a world where modesty is not much appreciated anymore.
I have met many great Muslim people through my 360 page, and I am so glad to have met them. They're great people.

May the peace, blessing and mercy of God be upon you ALL
Thank you for understanding that most Muslims are not like the crazy Radical, Extremists, deviant, hateful, ignorant ones that they show on TV all the time.
They are astray unfortunately.
Peace Be With You
- love your Muslim brother

I like Muslims because I am a Muslim.
Edit: I like Muslims because I was a Muslim. They have shown me nothing but respect, even in my decision to leave Islam.

AS A MUSLIM I CANNOT SAY THAT I LIKE ALL MUSLIMS IN FACT THERE ARE A FEW I CANNOT STAND
AS I DO BELEIVE A PERSONS RELIGION SHOULD PLAY A BIG ROLE IN THEIR CHARACTER
IT DOES NOT ALWAYS MEAN IT DOES
SO I MUST SAY THAT MUSLIMS SHOULD ALL BEHAVE AS THE QURAN TELLS US TO BUT WE DONT SO IT IS THE PERSON IN HIMSELF THAT IS GOOD AND IF HE IS A GOOD MUSLIM THAN IT IS HE THAT GIVES US A GOOD NAME
