All jewellery, clothes and effects are taken out before you get cremated. Only the denier knows exactly how it's done...

The fact is nothing is removed from the remains unless the family request it. Once the coffin is sealed by the undertaker the coffin remains sealed, no one at the crematorium opens the casket at all, it would be totally against health regulations, so whatever ornaments, clothing etc., you have on your body will be cremated. The temperature of the oven reaches well above 2000 deg Celsius so any form of jewelry would be combusted and there would be nothing left. Undertakers are not in the habit of removing anything from the body unless requested to do so by the next of kin. The only person who might remove the article would be a pathologist or assistant if the person was the subject of a coroners inquiry where a post mortem was to take place, and even in that event they would carefully remove it.

I would think out of human decency they would remove it gently. Most places have a viewing before the cremation.

I think they will take it out gently, but it doesn't matter to you since you're dead already....

they may leave it in if thats the families request why would it matter though your dead

it should be removed by the hospital/coroner after the cause of death is determined.
