After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.
Which 4 corners of the earth are they going to stand on?

Think of the earth as flat. It will start in the NE corner and SE corner. Then move west until all 4 corners are gathered. It's already started, you can see the pattern folding.

According to my Rand-McNally wall map 2 of the corners are in the Arctic Ocean and the other 2 are in Antarctica. I hope those angels don't mind the cold.

It's called SYMBOLISM .
Have you never heard someone say "there's a storm brewing" to refer to some coming conflict ... having nothing to do with real weather?
