If your are only allergice to garlic and not all seasonings in the garlic family then try using Shallots. It's like a cross between and onion and a garlic.

I don't know what component of garlic is an issue for you, so I don't know if any of these is a problem...
Garlic chives has the closest flavor.
Shallots
Onions and green onions (scallions) will have a different flavor, but can work.
Elephant garlic is garlic, so I doubt it'll work for you, but it MIGHT just have lower quantities of the allergen?
In the end, I'd suggest garlic chives.

I love curry and it can add a real zing to anything that garlic would be appropriate for, but if you hate curry, this will not help you, I can't imagine a life without garlic....you have my sympathy......deepest sympathies.
