Bcomplex is for energy because it maintains your blood sugar levels stable. The multi vitamins though are made from synthetic vitamins and fillers, I suggest a food supplement called bee pollen and royal jelly, both come directly from the hive and work, I have been taking git for years, I fell great and have more energy than a teen .... no one can even guess my age, everyone tells me I look in my late 20's early 30's research it on beeroyalproducts.com

Energy vitamins are mainy the B vitamins, specificly B-6 and B-12, also some multivitamins may have other things that help, however i never feel any extra energy from these things. I have read things from nutritionists that claim that no study has ever proiven that taking multivitamins actually has ANY benefit to an individual but they seem to make me feel better so I use them.

You still need to eat but it should square off any vitamins or nutrients that you may be short of on a daily basis.

Multivitamins are meant to be supplements. This means that vitamin pills are used to when you do not get enough of vitamins and minerals in your food and drinks. Choosing the proper multivitamin depends on your gender, age and activity level. For example women who are between 14 - 40 are encourage to take higher levels of Iron and Folic Acid than men. I suggest the USDA food pyramid site http://www.mypyramid.gov for specific vitamin and mineral requirements. Various multivitamin pills provide different levels of different vitamins. Specific vitamins I seen in energy drinks include various B vitamins (Thiamine, Niacin, etc.) and Vitamin C.

if it a complete mv with minerals and iron, then it's enough to keep you from getting scurvy. but if you have any health problems, additional supplements are in order.
