A rich Cabernet Sauvignon for the meal--unless you've opted for the lobster, in which case I'd recommend a white (say a Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc), as the tannin in red wine and iodine in lobster don't mix well at all.
And to accompany the chocolate-dipped banana dessert: a Sauterne (French, not Californian), sweet Riesling, or White Zinfandel.

Red wine would be appropriate and compliments chocolate too. Not sure how well it goes with bananas though. I would suggest a "sinful" 3 layed chocolate cake.

oh, but lets not forget bananas and chocolate donuts...
and I would say a sweeter Red... but not a Port (too sweet)...
Maybe just a few bottles of that cheap Riunite (however you spell it) raspberry flavored stuff? Its pretty good table wine.
