hi, on sunday i broke my foot. so my doc prescribed perkasets for pain. and today they made me soo dizzy. it felt like my heart was beating real fast and that i was flying adn very dizzy, but lightheaded 2. is this normal, or should i tell my doc asap?

MILD side effects such as yours are very common with Percocet and other narcotics. YOUR side effects sound extreme, and you should, by all means, tell your Doc asap. It sounds as though you could be having a mild allergic reaction, but ONLY your Doc can determine this. CALL HIM/HER!

Definitely tell your doctor. If it helps to know, most pain medications make me really queasy. In your case, it sounds like your blood pressure may be going way up, so he might have to give you a different medicine. At the very least, as in my case, he could give you something like Phenergen to help with nausea.

LOL, if both of you are dizzy, then its the side effect of the drugs. Or you guys were spinning around while you were having sex. Now, getting light-headed after sex, that's understandable.

They are all common side effects. Did you get one of those little print outs from the pharmacy that lists the side effects? You can also finds side effects on the Internet just by typing in the name of the drug with the words side effects.
If these side effects are bothersome discontinue the medicine. If they get worse contact your doctor.

Taking Percocet when you are not used to it can indeed produce symptoms such as these. Because yours are so pronounced I would certainly call the doctor though.
