If the fines are automatic, like with a speeding ticket, the only way you can fight them is through the courts. The court with the agreement of the procecutor could allow charges to be dropped. but you better have good reason, not just the fact that fines are so huge.

If first time usually depending on charges courts are lieniant.
Unfortunately we don't know your charges.
My example: I got pulled over for rejected inspection sticker, although still good sticker it caughht attention. While cop was running plates streak of stupid luck, my insurance co. changed and as dumb luck would go my policy was cancelled for non-payment, which was totally paid off the month prior to co. change. I had to go to court and was freaking the whole time waiting for court date. I took care off all issues next business day. All charges were dropped with a $100 court fine but no record of incident.
Some days it is the luck of the draw.

If there were that many charges, I'd guess you're not "totall innocent."
As far as getting the charges dropped, it is going to depend on what the charges are and the circumstances of the crime.
My advice is get a good lawyer, tell him or her EXACTLY what happened and then follow his/her advice and keep your trap shut.

Way too little information here to answer any question about this. What was the stop for? What are the charges? What were the circumstances?

show em a little something before you get cited.
seriously, if it is a traffic violation, look for any discrepancies on the ticket. Example: if the wrong time was written down, if the cop didn't sign it. Anything like that can get it thrown out.

We'd need to know the charges and what happened at the arrest in order to give you any kind of answer.

Your question is too vague to answer adequately because you have provided no details. However, the most useful advice would be for you to retain an attorney.
