They may still be able to abuse the report flags. I am not sure yet. But regular users probably know that many of us have had that problem recently. For the last 2 or 3 days before today they had singled me out for being Catholic even after they told me i should not be. Some of my content has already been restored I am still here and it looks like those that were doing it are not. We finally complained enough to get results. FREEDOM ROCKS!!!

The mayor is right. Catholics have joined forces with the Jews and the illuminati in order to stop the Masonic conspiracy

i'm still waiting. i've no hope that my accounts will be restored, and looks like my business is screwed too.
yahoo doesn't want to admit the mistake, and they are nitpicking about the TOS... apparently i made a typo once when stating my age, and since it didn't match my account info i'm SOL. never mind the dozens of times i typed it correctly, or the 75 or so best answers i received, or anything.
there is no freedom on yahoo. i'm jaded.

but i'm glad it worked for you :)

From a recovering Catholic (now atheist):

I'm too new at Y!A to know the mechanics of what's going on. However, the way some people have been deleted over the past few days is unsettling. Most of us, when we see something we don't like, refrain from looking at it. Many of the fundies, they'll make sure *nobody else* sees it, whether those other people like it or not.

Today, i happen to think Christianity is a crock of schit, but my position on freedom hasn't changed. Your freedom is my freedom. Party on!

@gorgeoustxwoman2 - They probably don't consider david to be a Christian. I've met people who take it upon themselves to dictate who's Xian and who isn't, and Catholics rarely make the grade.

Just exactly how are you blaming the "fundies" for these problems. How can someone, anyone get anyone elses account deleted?
I am not understanding all this talk about people getting deleted, and the blame going to the fundies. How do you know who it is.. it doesn't make any sense?

I don't know who the fundamentalists are. Deleting anyone is not good. Whoever enjoys doing that will return as another user.

I'm very glad to hear that! I'm glad you got some of your content back. That was really unfair what they did to you.
