The Garden of Eden is said to be in the region now occupied by modern Iraq, eastern Syria, southeastern Turkey, and Southwest Iran. No one knows for sure.

Iraq is also the location of Babylon (the land of Jewish exile), the Tower of Babel, the city of Ur (the birthplace of Abraham), and the city of Ninevah Assyria (now Mosul) from where the attack was launched that destroyed the 10 tribes of Israel..
