Hi all , I ahve some queries, Please answer and it will be a great help
-Are Bpharm graduates after 2003 allowed to get admitted for the pharmD course in uS.
-How long is the pharmD course in US,for Bpharm graduates from India after 2003.
-Are pharmD graduates eligible to write the NAPLEX and MBJE without TOEFL and FPGEE.
-I heard that there are some deficiency courses available for B.Pharms from India to practice as Pharmacist.

Pharmacy courses vary depending on the school.

My brother finished his and it was about 1.5 years. There was another school that was less expensive but took 2 years.

Pharmacist is a really well paying career. Espeically considering the amount of education required isnt that much really.

In the U.S., it takes 4 years to get a PharmD on top of the prePharmacy requirements.
As long as you have the required prereqs, you can, in theory, get accepted.
There are accelerated PharmD programs for B.Pharms, but I don't know if they accept foreign degrees. A number of those programs are being shut down because of lack of interest.
It is next to impossible for a non U.S. citizen/permanent resident to get accepted into pharmacy college for a direct PharmD program. You won't qualify for any financial aid.
U.S. PharmD graduates just have to take the NAPLEX and MBJE before becoming licensed.

I will give you a link to Texas Tech university. They have one of the best pharmacology programs around. Best of luck to you! They will atleast be able to to get you headed in the right direction.
