I was about to close down my screen when I saw your question...I have similar problems...depression medicine, I have found at least in my own experiences, needs to be adjusted and monitored very frequently. The body can become used to it and it takes a higher dose or even a change to something else to bring about positive results...you're not crazy....get to your Dr and discuss this with him/her at once. I trust you will feel better for it.

This is from somebody who has also been diagnosed with depression...First of all it's good that you recognize that the depression is back. You need to talk to your doctor. Perhaps a dosage or even a medication change is in order. You may also have what they call "situational depression" where the particular situation you're in may trigger the depression. For example, a break up with a spouse/boyfriend? Job problems? problems at home? If the situation is what's causing the problem, look at taking steps to get out of that situation. But above all, see your doctor. Somebody here cares.

Cymbalta is a horrible drug. I have taken many anti-depressants over the years and man this stuff is awful. It made me have what is called a Cymbalta Crash i was breaking things in my house calling my husband horrible names. I had a breakdown because of Cymbalta. Please try another Depressant under your Dr.'s advice of course. I take Effexor now and small amounts of Xanax and do very well.

well go back to your doctor and talk about these symptoms that have been occurring. cymbalta may not be right to you, especially if you have and medical things that you have, which means you wouldn't or shouldn't take cymbalta. if there is no other possible reason i would just say cymbalta is a cheap medicine for you, and my advice would be to switch medications.... just don't do it without consulting your doctor first. it can be mad for you if you abruptly stop or switch medicines.

When a person feels down for whatever reason they are less motivated. Some times you just have to do things that need to be done even if you don't feel like it. This I know to be true.
