I'm getting the chinese symbol for Daughter on my foot:)
I don't know what sort of placement I should use. I don't want it just on the very top of my foot.. I was thinking down by my baby toe.. or like.. i dunno.. I need a suggestion:)
The fact I wear shoes is not a factor.
It probably hurts alot eh? hahaha!!

it all depends on the size of the actual tattoo,but for something small and compact, i recommend to stay of center as if its in the middle, it just looks like a blob.look at the skin above your toes1 or 2 cm above,then calculate the middle of your foot to the outside by your little toe and try the middle of this area.try drawing a design on with felt tip to see weather you like it or not.remember to look at it in a mirror as it looks different from this angle.
it can be a bit painful on your foot, i have 3 on my feet, one i did myself,it wasn't to painful, well the tattoo wasn´t, but i acidentaly kicked my dentists chair while setting up to do the tattoo and broke one of my toes, belive me...it took my mind right off the pain therafter.

I have a tattoo on the top of my foot and it did hurt pretty bad and like the girl said before me I could barley walk for a couple of days too but I think that Anywhere you place it on your foot will look Awesome but it does hurt!

Well do you wear flip flops or a sandal. Place the tattoo around thong of the flip flop. And yes the top of your foot will hurt.

I think a foot tatt is sexy no matter where it is. But I like the pinky toe thing. Also sexy is near the heel under the ankle bone.

im thinking of having a tattoo on my foot im trying to design one its a rose vine starting at my ankle, going round my ankle onto my foot with my babys name gooing through the rose vine . Herd it really hurts though!!

my daughter got a tattoo on the top of her foot and she said it hurt.....i would think it would hurt more on your toes....maybe over to the side of your foot, on the outside of your foot....

yea buddy!! i have a cat on my right foot & it hurt like heck. not at the time it was being done (well not horribally) but for the next few days my foot was sooooooo sore i couldn't hardly walk!!!

yes, it is going to hurt, but it would probably hurt anywhere else. i would get it at an angle towards the outside of my foot.

put it on the inside side of your foot. they look cool, and they aren't cliche yet.
