I go to school most of the day, I go to the park at least 4 times a week, I have a spacious back and front yard.
I don't want my pet to be noisy, troublesome, and hard to take care of.

I don't want a little dog and it shouldn't be too expensive about $100 or less.

A smaller dog with a mild temperment. But forget the pure breeds - go to your local animal shelter and find your new best friend there! You can meet some of the dogs and find one that's a good match for you. Plus - there are a lot of good things about owning a mixed breed dog. They tend to have less health problems, and tend to live longer (smaller dogs also have a longer life span on average).
Plus - many mutts are lower maintenence - you can find a short hair dog that won't need much fuss. Not to mention that you're giving a homeless doggy a good home, and it's very minimal cost.
You don't have to get a tiny dog - but you should stay away from very large dogs because they will need more exercise than you will be able to provide.

Cat. Very simple. If your gone all the day a dog probably wont suit your needs. Cats are very easy to take care of. Leave them some water and food in a dish before you go to school and clean up their litterbox everyday.

But if you really want a dog...then you need to think of a few things. Is your yard fenced in? do you have a kennel? Cause you do not want to leave a dog alone for too long in a house, no matter how good they are at being house broken, they will leave accidents everywhere. Dogs also have a way of getting into things that you may not want them to..like tearing up shoes, paper, knockin over the trashcan, tearing up the house in general. Though if you really want a dog go get something small a terrior or toy dog....nothing big...though you may want to invest into a kennel so you can leave the dog outside when your not home. Just remember, take care of what animal you get and its a big responsibility....not just a push over job..your responsible for another life not just yours.

try a small breed or toy dog. Terriers are sometimes barkers, but not always. They usually have shorter coats. My parents have a miniature schnauzer who is pretty good. She's not really a barker, but she can be a little pest when you have food (but training, which my mom thwarts at every turn, would put a stop to that). As for grooming, mom takes Gina to a groomer about once every 6-8 weeks. While there, she's washed, shaved, teeth are brushed, nails are trimmed, and ears are cleaned. In between, she usually gives Gina one more bath. Paying for grooming may be harder to do, but schnauzers need regular grooming.
If you wanted a bigger dog, a lab or golden are great dogs and not usually overly troublesome or hard to take care of.

I got a chocolate Lab from a shelter that I found through a Lab rescue organization. She is absolutely the best dog I've ever owned. She was 8 months old when I found her and they had already spayed her. It cost me $65 and was the best money I've ever spent on a pure bred dog. If you get a Lab however, understand that they are people dogs. They don't like to be away from their families or left alone outside-that's where you get into trouble with Lab's. If you don't spend enough time with them they will get bored and chew up everything. Our's is a housedog and she has never had an accident in the house. They love to play and are easy to train.

Good luck!

you can get a yellow lab, or something i have a beagle and she takes alot of work because they are extremely hard to train. but a yorkie is the cutest and tiniest and easiest dog to train. jack russels are also cute and easy - usually little dogs are easiest. like a maltese or something. but u need time to spen with them because they all get attached to there owners.

Get a labrador retriever, they are easy to train, and fairly calm even as puppies.Whatever you do don't get a beagle they are extremely difficult to train, I think they need to be raised on farms

Try taking the breed test - it's important that the dog you get be in accord with your life:
