DA, YES ! Not a question of fair, just common sense. If you already answered your own question, why ask it in the first place? This is not a BLOG site to post opinions. At least it's not supposed to be. If you could vote on your own anser, everyone would gove themself a thumbs up vote.

Yes it is fair. We post questions to either seek out the answer or to poll for opinions. Who really cares about the thumbs up?

Yes it is fair. I guess there are some on here that change their ID and come in and answer there own questions for points. That is not only not fair, it's really sadly pathetic.

If you answer your own question, what is the point in asking it?????????? Purpose of Yahoo Answers is to ger help for issues that you have, not to voice your own opinion (you do that when someone else asks a question)

Yes its fair and I don't like the fact that some have several accounts that ask,answer and then give themselves best answer. What have you accomplished if you cheat?

There are too many TROLLS on here who are answering and asking their own questions as it is!!!
They report others under their 15 different yahoo i.d.'s and get other people's accounts pulled!! THAT is what is NOT fair!!!
A lot of people on here are nothing but whiners!!! If you disagree with them, they keep reporting you for BS reasons!!!
Evidently they are too STUPID to have an intelligent debate, so they just ABUSE the report button!! I see most of the old regulars are no longer on here, so they either got their account deleted,got new accounts, or got tired of the BS and moved on !!
