I lied to my boyfriend once: it was for a surprise party I was throwing him. Otherwise I am pretty darn honest. If he is wearing something out I don't like, I would tell him in a nice way. If he asks me for my opinion on something I know we will have different veiws or answers on, I tell him honestly what I think. I think whats the point in lying about something stupid or little, if it's that stupid or little, they shouldn't get mad if your honest. And about big stuff, if you lie, the person will always find out. It may take a little while, but the truth always comes out.

I have never lied to a partner or family or friends...there's just no point in it. Honesty is always the best policy! If there is something that I don't want them to know, then I keep it to myself. If I have to hurt someone else by telling the truth, then so be it!

If anyone says they havent lied they are LYING! My hubby has no idea half the time what I spend on something! Ill buy my son jeans and say hey they were on sale! Or hey those grey sweat pants u got on turn me on baby doll! Of course i love your mother! NOT! WOW that was the greatest sex ever!!! Did it grow bigger over nite? Biggest Ive ever seen! lol We have all done it to spare feelings in one way or another!

Basically if you lie now it's going to screw something up much more later. Just tell the truth. If they really like you then everything will be fine.

From what I've seen and my experiences, yeah I think we all do. Some just lie to make the other mad because they like it, like my girlfriend does to me. Lol.

No, and I find this line of reasoning very insulting. To have a true relationship, I believe that there has to be trust. And if someone lies, how can there be trust?

Yes !!!! It's human nature, no one wants to catch crap for being to honest. and especially by from your partner. the truth is we probably lie more to the people we love then to total strangers, Consciences!!!

yes, we have but it is not the best way. Truthfulness and honesty bear the fruit of peace in those who walk without lying but sometimes it is a must if you are to protect someone from harm...
