Read the last chapter or so of any of the Gospels in the Bible. You don't even have to buy one. Do a search on the web.
If you don't want to read, check out the movie 'The Passion of the Christ'. That portrays Jesus' death very well.
In short, He was tortured and nailed to a cross; the most horrendous way to die devised by man.

Crucifixion usually led to death by asphyxiation, as strung up like that it was an incredible effort to maintain breathing. In Jesus case he had had a night of physical torture before - scourging, being hit blindfolded, even having his beard ripped out if you believe some Old Testament prophecies.
He committed his spirit to God the Father and died. Perhaps his heart burst after the extreme physical ordeal.
I love reading the resurrection accounts, as you see the worst that Satan can do is overturned. We christians know its true because we have received Him to ourselves (via the Holy Spirit) when we believed in his sacrifice for our sins.

Jesus was hung on a cross and killed. Three days later He died and rose again. All for you and me so we could spend eternity with Him. Isn't that something? If you have the stomach for it, 'The Passion of the Christ' shows how Jesus died. It's an amazing movie. I sobbed through the whole thing.

Prophet Jesus (pbuh) did not die, people thought that he did, another man was killed on the cross, he was raised by Allah and he is now in heaven

Yeah, on the cross, but then he was resurrected days later and came out of his tomb...this is where opinions differ. Some say he ascended to Heaven, and others say he lived out the rest of his days and died of old age. I am not religious, so this is the best I can give you.

Well, he was crucifeied on the cross and then rose again three days later, and that is why we celebrate easter, thanx dude Either this or you can look in the back in the bible at revalations and it tells the story!

Prophet Jesus (Peace be upon him) never died. He is still alive in heavens with Allah (subhanaho wa tala). Allah in the Holy Quran says that they did not kill Prophet Jesus (Peace be upon him) but Allah took him in heavens alive. Complete episode is there in the Book.
