Why do people judge other religion without even knowing anything about it?

I've read the Baghavad Gita once, with the help of a Hindu friend. I didn't find anything of genuine revelation in it. It wasn't as much utter garbage as the Bible or Qu'ran, but it was close -- I mean, seriously, using caste and karma as an excuse for slaughter?

Because they are ignorant and dont bother to at least take the time invested in doing something like this in finding out about the people around them. Good question.

Dear Nira,

I know that the Bible is absolutely true and that Jesus Christ is the One true God. I do not need to know anything about other "religions." I will attempt to share the truth with them but I know that salvation (being born-again) is of God. I cannot save anyone.
