You didnt state where you are from. I would go on Carnivale Cruise Line because they are extremely reasonable. You eat when you want, dress how you want, and go where you want. They give you the options, and you select what you want and when you want it. I've been on 5 cruises and have enjoyed all of them. I like going to the Carribean because you get more bang for your buck and get to see many islands for the price of one trip. You will enjoy yourself no matter which cruise you go on. Make sure you take a camera and take lots of pictures. Take clothes that pack well and make sure you take comfortable shoes. There are hairdryers in every room so you dont have to pack one. There are irons if needed at the office so you dont have to pack that either. They typically have a formal night which is a lot of fun. They take pictures of you all the time which you can view and purchase if you like. Being on your honeymoon you should definitely purchase one--they are not expensive and are done by professional photographers. You can check on line for prices, but if you go to a Travel agent they can also get you very good prices and upgrades--also they may send you flowers and champagne since you will be on your honeymoon. Note: you will get addicted to cruising. Congratulations on your marrage and enjoy your cruise.

Below is a good reference site that will answer most any question you may have. You can read reviews of other cruisers that have taken those ships and you can gain a lot of knowledge from them, but not making the same mistakes they made.

Royal Caribbean, in my opinion, is the best affordable cruise line there is. I have not been on every cruise line but from my experience, I'd go with Royal. You can wear what you want, when you want. There are nights that you can dress up if you want to eat in the formal restaurant, but if you don't want to dress up... just go to another place on the ship to eat... there are many places to eat on every ship.

Walk into a local travel agency and find a cruise agent.
you have valid questions that should be answered face to face. the agent can help you with the entire cruise experience!

Go to expedia.com or cruisesonly.com and check the islands and rates out of both Ft. Lauderdale and Miami (same with airfares). I recommend Royal Caribbean, I don't recommend Carnival, I've been on both and haven't been on any other cruise lines.
