There is a famous prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed that says that he was ordered to FIGHT people until they accept his prophecy and if they do so they can save their money and their souls; otherwise he would keep fighting them and god would help me.

The above statement was narrated by most Muslim scholars including [Muslim:32; Musnad Ahmed:9771; Ibn Maja:3918; Tarmazy:3264; Abu dawood:1331; Nasa'ie:3040] and many others.

My question is why did prophet Muhammed say that (and has already done it) although he might have convinced more people with only his logical wonderful teachings?

Look 1400 years, Kings and head of the Catholic Church were slaving the masses. Poor people have contact with God only through the Priest on Sunday confession. When freedom of Islam reached the masses many converted to Islam many were killed and tortured by those bad kings. Wars were declared on the bad kings not the masses. Islam freed the masses.Islam established the term Human Rights in areas like social classes quality, women rights , abolishment of slavery where in past the world did not recognize any human rights.GOD Laws are made of three Books: The Old Testament, The new Testament and Quran as a conclusion all originated from the middle east. How can you understand GOD LAWS with out reading GOD Conclusion?

That is not true,
The prophet did not "fight" to make people accept Islam. It was their choice, Did you know that some of the prophets relatives were not Muslim?? He did not fight them nor kill them!
-----
And for those who made those nasty comment about Prophet Muhammed, well, your wrong! You people are just ignorant! Get your facts straight people!

Same questions with the change of nick ! so here comes the same answer !!

"Say : O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine. (The Noble Quran, 109:1-6)"

"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy handhold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. (The Noble Quran, 2:256)"

there is no compulsion in islam !! so you are told wrong that Muhammad(pbuh) has such aim in life........none of the muslims is told this and none of us follow such thing......Oh wait ! as "Fox news","faithfreedom" and "prophet of dooms" type crap have more knowledge about islam ~~ sarcasm~~ they usualy spread such things as kill Infidels and bla bla and link it to islam beautifuly...and people like you who can not use their brain follow it blindly !

Goot luck for more ignorance !

I am not a muslim but have been told things when i asked questions and here is how i understand it. Im not 100% sure tho....

... before muhammed became a muslim / started the muslim faith he was a war lord in the middle east and when he did becaome "peaceful" and logical, as u put it, ppl started questioning him, saying to him, whenever he told them to be peaceful: "But u faught all those years, u were a violent and brutal man". His answer to them was " I was commanded to fight in order to save lives for Allah"

So ye, in my opp. thats not a v. gd excuse but ye. Sounds a bit like some of the stuff ppl are saying t'day, if u ask me.

He was a fraud!!!

Does it make any kind of sense to fight and kill another person because they do not want your maniacal religion?

That is absolute nonesense.

What kind of God wants to force anyone to bend to His will?

My God gave me the free will to choose Him or Satan. He said what He will give me and what Satan will not. He said His way is life and Satan's is death. The choice is mine. I know what my end will be if I reject Him. He will leave me to deal with the devil so-to-speak.

Why does the Bible say that we will fry like bacon for all eternity (in God's mercy) if we don't believe that Jesus is the son of God?
