Nowhere. You are a living soul. When you die you cease to exist. Ezekiel 18:4 says, "The soul that is sinning—it itself will die." The soul is not some immortal entity that separates from your body.

"And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul." -- Genesis 2:7
The Bible says that the man is a soul. If you read careful you realize that dust + breath of life = a living soul. So, there's nothing in us that survives after death and we are not immortal. "The soul that is sinning—it itself will die." -- Ezekiel 18:4.
What happens with the soul after it dies? It just decomposes. "In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return.” -- Genesis 3:19.

There is no soul sleep of the righteous. The bible clearly says:
2Co 5:8 Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. (ESV Translation)
Only the damned sleep in their graves.
1Co 15:51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Those that have died in Christ now reside in heaven. Since Christ, the second person of the Godhead, has always existed, the elect of God have been known to Him before Christ actually walked the earth. So anyone who has died since the world began exists in heaven or in the grave as described above.
The spiritual bodies of the righteous will result from the joining of their heavenly natures with their resurrected bodies at the second coming of Christ at the final judgment.
Those that are damned will awake from their sleep to be judged and join Satan in their separation from God in Hell.

Dear Bianca,
If one is not saved (child of God) then the soul goes to a place of silence to await judgment at the end of the world.
If one is saved (child of God; born-again, redeemed) then as soon as one dies they are present with the Lord. The Bible tells us absent from the body, present with the Lord. You see every one who is saved (born-again), has had his/her sins already paid for by the Lord Jesus Christ. They have been justified or made righteous by Christ and therefore are able to enter into God's Heaven.

there is a popular saying today.
"You are not a human having a spiritual experience. You are
spiritual soul having a human experience."
We return to the ethers as consciousness to evaluate the incarnation we just had, eventually we decide what weneed
to work on in the next incarnation so we can continue evolving toward enlightenment.

We do not have a spiritual component that survives death. When we die, we cease to exist entirely.

Depends on your beliefs. I believe they cross over to the other side where they can be reborn.
