'Belief' is irrational, by its very nature.

Natural law is much better, actually.

I don't know of anyone personally that believes in Heaven and thinks that the earth as we know it know is hell. I believe that when my savior comes back the world is going to get pretty bad for the ones who are left, but not that hell is here, I believe hell is supposed to be ten times hotter than it can ever be on earth (don't quote that as scripture but feel free to look it up) which would mean hell cant be earth. Make sure your saved, and pray, then you won't ever have to worry about being in hell forever. Hope this helps!

If the Hell described in the Bible was here and now on earth, we all would be screaming in intense torment and agony unceasingly. There would be no end to the pain and horror that is expected in that place called Hell.

We are extremely blessed not to be there and stop trying to equate the problems we experience daily or the other inconveniences on the job, the supermarket, in traffic or such with the actual Hell God has earmarked for those of us who prefer an afterlife with Satan.

God never said Hell was here on earth; it is man who says so.

Dear ricara,

There are 3 heavens mentioned in the Bible. The first heaven refers to the sky (where birds fly). The second heaven is outer space (where we observe stars and planets). The third heaven is where God resides.

Hell is refered to in the Bible many times. However, it is not a place that exists at the present time. Hell or the lake of fire will be created at the end of this world when Christ returns. Those who have never received pardon for their sins will spend eternity in hell or the lake of fire paying for their sins. The Bible tellls us, "The wages of sin is death." This does not refer to physical death because everyone dies. It refers to the second death-to be under the wrath of God forever.

Plenty of people believe that there is no Hell, only Heaven, that after death everyone is with God. So I guess in that scenario earth would be the closest thing to hell.

I don't think I understand. Hell here on earth is not the same hell I'm thinking of.

Beleiving and doing as Jesus would do is how we get to heaven, not by our works or who we are. Hell is not here on earth, hell is what we make it and how we live on a daily basis. You either choose to live for God or choose to do the Devils work. Read your bible daily and God will show you the answer to all your daily living guidelines.God gave us each day for his purpose in our lives, if hell on earth is how people choose to think, then they are probably living the non Christian life.Earth is for us ti give back to God a purpose in our lives to him to show ourselves approved before him(God).

hell is not a physical place yet... once all of Gods people are taken to heaven, and all that chose not to follow God are still on earth... where do you think they will be sent whenever God sends fire down to burn the sinners. there will be too many people so why not just burn them where they are? so i think thats what will happen. when the fury of God is sent down to purify the earth of sin by fire

I don't believe that. I believe what the Bible says. I'm looking forward to Heaven!
